Emily Blythe is a visiting postdoctoral scholar from Mark von Zastrow's lab at UCSF. Originally from Michigan, Emily received her PhD in biochemistry from Caltech before moving north to the Bay Area for her postdoc. She is broadly interested in the cellular organization of GPCR-mediated cAMP signal transduction, and her collaboration with the Huttenhain lab tackles this question using phospho- and spatial proteomics. When not in the lab, Emily enjoys sewing and photography.
